HOW TO USE THE SCORES

Download the “how to use this score” table which outlines a suggested progress path for using the scores provided. The approach is designed to help you teach a groove gradually, layering new elements step by step to provide suitable challenges for different students.

Each stage introduces variations and creative ideas so that everyone can find a way to play the piece that feels comfortable yet engaging.

The scores are written to be flexible and inclusive:

They work with any combination of instruments, from full ensembles to small groups.
You can also play along with the backing tracks provided if you have a smaller ensemble.
The rhythm section parts can be used independently as a percussion feature, or combined with piano and melody lines as desired.

This accessible scoring approach means the piece will work no matter which instruments or players you have. A key part of the process is allowing students to arrange and adapt the music themselves — encouraging creativity and ensuring that each performance sounds unique.
